![]() ![]() If I keep GR's interface on top while I record, it's completely dead like before, but when I play the recording back, it shows all kinds of signals like it's supposed to and it amplifies like it's supposed to but the quality gets really bad. If I set everything up exactly the way I originally described, and then hit record, I'm still only hearing my clean guitar sound, BUT, if I then play that back, GUITAR RIG wakes up from the dead and start doing it's job. If I select to arm "Stereo (Input 1+2)" it records my Mic In (nothing) and my Guitar In on the same audio track. When I'm using the fast track in other software I always use the right channel to use the guitar input. My Fast Track audio interface has 2 channels, the left channel (Channel 1) is a microphone input and the right channel (Channel 2) is a guitar input. When you're not using the effect, is the sound coming in on the left? With mono signals like guitars, you'd generally arm on the left. Cubase and it IS supposed to work like this. I've been using GR to record in other programs, E.G. In the picture here I've activated both the Left and Right IN channels at the top just to make it really clear that there's no signal. I can still hear the clean guitar sound in the background, but Guitar Rig can't do anything since it's not receiving any signals. I'm getting no signals when playing on the guitar. Guitar Rig goes trough the regular boot-up/loading routine, I insert a new Audio track and arm the right Line-In input channel, I'm connecting my guitar trough my M-Audio Fast Track (simple USB audio interface). I've now been using Guitar Rig 4/5 for quite some time and have gotten a good understanding in how GR works and how to use it in several different recording programs.īut I just can't get it to work in MixCraft.
